hello all! oh man i just found a candy haven today!!!! hidden at millenia walk the shop is like damn huge and it's called CANDY EMPIRE!!!!! hahahah i went crazy inside so everyone gotta go visit it! anyway i think only we teachers are blogging.. the rest work until they faint liao.. i can help with the steamboat! we can meet early on the day and buy right? oh and i became from ms chew to PIKACHU..apparently i look and sound like that yellow ball... and i forgot wat i wanna say liao..so that's all for now..chian lin ruled the world at 10:26 pm

wow... zhenni, i like ur organised response! so i'll adopt that too! :) hehh. here goes... impt tings first.1. there WILL be enuf time to prepare in the aftanoon. USUALLY, it's better to prepare the day itself as the food will be fresher and all. and actually, there wun be much work required to slice the stuffs, so dun woree abt dat.

3. we will be doing some marketing for the fresh meat, fish etc. on the day itself.. fishballs and other "more handy" food can be bought on friday. if we want convenience, coro will do lah

5. we can start recruiting ppl for fridae nite's marketing! how abt ppl who stay nearby? so tat wun have to waste somuch time travelling home at nite. n those who are quite far will be responsible for sat's marketing! (but fri nite ppl oso must chip in lah)

shoe..din go cos i went to waste my time at theory lessons...haha..wah..i cant seem to pass basic theory tho. think i'm stupid or smthing. tried twice failed twice. as in the trial test..got 43 and 44..cant stand it..eh...wat abt u come up w a list o food we need then we each bring some? so zhenni dun need to prepare so much? yusheng?eh..i not very sure where to buy...those zi cha stalls? ntuc got sell?
lets see wat we need...
the steamboat, ladles, chicken, fish, fishball, tofu, crabsticks, veggie, tang hun, mushrooms, someone continue the list..den we split up the food? but if prepare on the 18th is better, i dun mind also...but i cant confirm yet..cos my future is still undecided...haha..

hey shoe! thanks a lot for ur input! regarding the steamboat.. i was feeling really lost.. ok i'll really REALLY need ur help (and anybody else's) to prepare for it, esp since yoof had experience doing this.. hmm i'll jes number my pts/qns la k cos im feeling quite lost now.. heh1. will there be enough time in the afternoon to prepare? as in, i thot some of the stuff need to be bought the day before or smth..
2. my house is available from abt.. 11am? is that too late? i think if u all wanna come before that its fine too, jes that my family will still be ard but that shud be ok la right..
3. my dad MAY be able to drive us ard, but theres no guarantee cos he may go play golf that day.. anw if we get everything ready before the 19th, there shudnt be a need to travel much i suppose.. and we could owaes walk to coro if we really wanna save money on bus fare haha
4. i havent got a dvd player yet but im bugging my parents for one and they seem ok with it.. i was thinking of buying it for the family when i get my pay.. hahaha but thats not anytime soon so we'll see.. at the v most, maybe woon could bring the one we gave her? since its quite small right.. or anyone else could bring.. yup but i'll try to get one asap!
5. i was thinking a few of us could meet up after work on friday to get the stuff first? den at least i could do some of the slicing and stuff on friday night so there'll be less/no work on the 19th.. but once again, i'd need help getting the meat etc.. so anyone free on friday night? the 18th.. pls pls pls..

zhenni, we can all cum up with a list of things for steamboat and then prepare it together in the aftanoon rite?? wad time is ur house available from?? and we'll get haoxia to ferry us to and fro lah!(getting everything we need).. den do u haf a dvd player?? i cld bring my dvds or sth.. so, can eat, tok and watch at the same time! food wise, it's qt easy to cum up with a list, but alot harder to prepare.. we wld need like slabs of beef, pork, chicken, fish and the list goes on... the simplest being fishballs, veggie, tofu, rice, beefballs, fishcakes, crabsticks, and other yong tau foo stuff! den gotta slice all of the big slabs, and put them into containers.. so that shld tk all afternoon.. and we gotta get the soup base oso!
if the preparation is too hard, do ur wanna consider pot luck instead? everybody feedback fast! so we can gaotim everything soon!

hello everybody! lemmi tell u a story.I ended my teaching stint at temasek sec last thurs... the teachers and kids were super super nice with cards n food n bear n a girl even cried... i was damn touched too and i know i'm gonna miss them a lot... so off i went slacking for the hari raya hols planning to look for a job after the weekend. so on monday JUST as i was paying for the papers to get the CLASSIFIEDS... nan chiau high school called me! they said they need relief teacher for 3 mths..n like the sch is 1min walk from my hse man..of cos i said ok la...
so the next day i reported for work...n since i din have work prepared.. i gave free periods... and guess wat the students brought out??????? BOARDS TO PLAY WEIQI N CHINESE CHESS. n today i just found out they even have lessons allocated to learn stuff like chinese opera, weiqi etc... and they dun say "class stand, class greet" they say "qi li, xing li"then gd morning in eng(w.e.i.r.d)... and the teachers.. in temasek when we walk pass each other we always say hi even though we dunno each other...but here.. they look everywhere except in your direction... TO BE CONTINUED at zhenni's house.
but dun worry i'm still alive.. hahaha.. cos i'm now the unorthodox coach of temasek sec canoe team!!!! they dun have coach this yr n they seem v demoralised so i agreed when they asked me to come down... anyone who wants to help me pls tell me k!

yoz..to all.. i found a job liao!!! HAHAHA~ admin job at sgh national heart centre on mon.. hahaha~ though it's only up till feb i'm still happy that i found a job! got a tuition confirmed too.. teaching p6 maths starting next week.. hahaha~ i'm a happy ger.. (",)

hi ms chew speaking hehe... wah looks like i missed out a lot of juicy stuff here all thanks to my laupok comp. eh i'm like the only one teaching co-ed ah! ay u all missing out on so much leh so many shuaiges to see everyday hahaha.. teaching's stressful man actually i'm glad my job's only one mth.. the preparation, marking, teaching is lotsa work.. and i feel damn responsible towards the kids especially cos they're in N(A) stream.. but it's damn fun lah.. haha i love my Sec 5 class man.. love the school environment everyone's very friendly and nice.. gonna miss everything there when i leave.. and i got a few job offers like bank telemarketing etc but i trying to find more flexi one.. cos i got this tuition centre thing.. like once or twice a week.. 3 hrs just mark a bit teach the kids a bit i earned $33! so see how la.. ooooo and walking in heels is irritating.. my feet is constantly sore...the trip right... poor haoxia search and mail so many places.. he just found out kapas island is closed today so changed to redang.. then cos we leaving thurs almost everyone cannot go then cancelled... but i was really looking forward to go kapas island man..
anyway i saw mj on msn a few days after she reached china what... talked to her for a while haha..

heys fionash!! new addition to our private chat! welcome welcome! haha mm i thot recruit express is v efficient? from what i heard la.. but i also heard that some branches are better than others.. hehs so fionash maybe ya wanna go try other branches? haha mm and is the 22nd thing confirmed? everythings like dangling in the air..but if it materialises it'll be so fun!!!hmm im a terrible geog student.. i don exactly know like the harmful consequences of monsoons.. heh i know it can be caused by the eastern easterly jet stream but thats abt it.. hahaa yup but if its in april we'll probably have more (of our own) money den funding it wont be so hard!
