Experienced Canoeists
Direct swimmers in the water and ensure that they do not swim away from the designated route.
Ensure the safety of the swimmers and also render assistance to the swimmer during emergency
Note:
1. Bermudas/shorts & socks are now available for collection at the TriathlonAssociation of Singapore, 19 Aroozoo Avenue (Former Paya Lebar SwimmingComplex) from 23 to 24 June 2005, Thurs - Fri. 2. The volunteer t-shirts will only be available for collection on 29 & 30June 2005, Wed - Thurs from 10am to 12 noon or 2pm to 7pm at the FuramaRiverfront (Formerly known as Novotel Apollo Singapore), 405 Havelock Road,Race Secretariat (VIP Room)map:http://www.streetdirectory.com.sg/singaporemap/singaporemap.php?buildingid=26921&masterid=125584.
If you are unable to collect the apparels, you may ask a representativeto collect on your behalf. However, an authorisation letter needs to be produced upon collection.
Please note that attendance will be taken on the morning of both Race Days and penalty action will be taken against those race day staff who absent themselves on the official days of the event without valid reasons.Official attire must also be returned to the organisers within 1 week afterthe event, if you absent yourself from duty.
Reporting of duty on race day:Volunteer leaders/2IC - By 4.30am at the Volunteer tent at East Coast Park E2.All volunteers - By 5am at the Volunteer tent at East Coast Park E2.Please report to your 2IC, Navindren on race day.
Reimbursement of duty can only be collected on 3 July 2005 after you havecompleted your duty. You can expect your duty to complete by 3pm.8.
